How Wine Night Works

Host a structured group wine tasting with friends — anywhere, on any device — in under a minute. No app to install. No spreadsheets.

   Sign up free

   Create a Wine Night account with email, Google, or Apple sign-in. Your first tasting is on us.

   Add your wines

   Enter winery, grape variety, wine type, and (optionally) vintage. Add up to 12 wines per session. Choose Blind mode to hide labels until results, or Traditional mode to score with full context.

3. 3

   Share the PIN

   Wine Night generates a 4-digit PIN. Friends enter it on their phone or laptop to join — no account required to participate.

   Score together

   Each wine is scored on a weighted 100-point scale: Appearance (15), Aroma (25), Palate (40), Label (10), and Finish (10). Scores sync in real time across every device, so the host can call out the next wine when everyone's ready.

   Get AI sommelier insights

   When the tasting wraps, Wine Night generates a fun group summary plus a personalised taster profile for every guest — what they liked, what styles they gravitate toward, and what to try next. Download a shareable PNG of the night's results.
